The WheelingFire Department received calls for fire on the roof of a mostly vacant, one-story, strip mall at 1786 W. Hintz Road Sunday morning (5/10/15) just after 9AM. Responding units were able to see a black header while en route. The fire was on the roof at the rear of the building. Buffalo Grove Tower 25 setup in the alley and hit the fire with their master stream and Wheeling firefighters used a 2 1/2-inch line from the roof. The affected area was roughly 20 square feet.

Heads up to bring Squad 24 out for the foam. Doesn’t look like they used it but they had the deck gun up ready to go at the end of the video.
