Yeah. I looked at one at the dealership over the summer and it was a diesel.

I am eager to see the transit vans too. Do you know if they are offering a diesel option? I wasn’t a huge fan of the gas engines for ambulances but they’re growing on me as we use a few at my current job. I’m a big fan of Ford in general.

I’ve heard from a few different owns that they aren’t so reliable. Mechanical issues mainly. My mechanic told me to stay away from them. I can’t wait to see those Transit vans hitting the emergency market. I think Ford might get good sales on them. I believe they come in a few grand cheaper than the sprinter chassis

Functionally speaking the Sprinter chassis is safe, durable, rides nice, and gets decent gas mileage. They ain’t necessarily pretty but they get the job done.
