Wow..FFEMT.. your the first one I have ever seen get edited by the admin. Full time is fully sworn village employees with benefits, and pension. 12 hr part time shifts with no benefits is still a part time department. Just because your working 24s of 2 12 hr shifts does not make you a full timer.

They are full time. They have a private full time ambulance in their stations running 75% of their calls.

But yet they’re not FFPM571….and there’s nothing you can do about it. [edited by the admin] 😀

That’s a negative they are not going to put the FD company logos on the Kurtz ambulances

Are they going to put that sticker on the ambulance from that house too?

There are really great guys that take great care of the rigs at Tinley

Agreed Crabby. Definitely a testament to department/firehouse pride. Clean, well maintained rigs, attention to detail (chrome and diamond plate wiped down), hose packed neatly, etc.

213 looks as good as it did 14 years ago. It says it’s a 2000.

There are now 5 ambulances in town assigned to the fire stations. They are designated as ambulance-201 thru 204. They are on a 24-48 schedule. There is a fifth ambulance at st 1 designated ambulance 211 and it’s in service from 0600-2400 every day
