Fire Service Inc. is pleased to announce that the City of Chicago has placed an order for 26 additional ambulances. The new units will be 1-training unit, 2-airport units and 23 city units. All units will be Wheeled Coach type 3 Ford E450 modules. Delivery will be in 120-150 days.

IIRC it was an order for 100. 70 Type III (51 of which have been ordered as of this order) and 30 Type I

The total order was supposed to be for 105 rigs,which was mentioned on here before.

I hope somethinghappens that they switch over to the Fseries. Driven ambulance 82 lately and I must say, I’m loving it.
