  Is Northbrook actually hiring or is this just to have the required eligibility list that the state law requires I believe every 2 years because I know that a few other departments are testing also but it’s for the list.

  Where does it say you must live within village limit’s? The Northbrook FD, is one the best department’s to work for!!!

  I’m assuming you have to live there? Affording a (North Shore) home on a firefighters salary seems like it would be tough.
