This from Eric Haak:

Shortly before 1400 hrs on Thursday, Chicago’s 15th Battalion Chief called for a Still & Box alarm on the 4000 block of South Brighton Place.  Chicago had been dealing with a fairly heavy lake-effect snow storm for most of the day and a heavy squall was moving through the Southwest Side at the time.  Originally dispatched as an alley garage, the 15th Battalion reported that he had exposure problems to a residence and one other garage.  This turned out to be a large alley garage that was extended and attached to the residence.  Companies had smoke pushing from the second floor of the residence and heavy fire throughout the garage.  Although I arrived a few minutes after the fire had been knocked, I thought I would share some of the images of companies picking up in the snow.
