Thanks for the info. That makes sense now. Keeping the big one and adding a smaller one.

My understanding from discussion with Chief Turpel is that this is a replacement for the current E-One E55 and that the current Tanker 55 is staying. What signature this or the current tanker will bear ultimately is unknown. I would not take too much from the label TANKER 55 on the new unit. The smaller size is partially for access to several long and narrow roads with homes at the end of their over half-mile long stretches.

This looks like a much smaller model than the current 55. Wonder why they’re downsizing.

Anybody know if this is replacing their current KME, or supplementing it? I’m assuming replacing since it is numbered 55, (as opposed ot 55A etc.) Just wondered why they went with the 2 man cab. Cost perhaps?
