I had a opportunity to speak with the guys in Bloomingdale about the new Ambulance. Right now, the current thinking is to convert one of the Ambulances (most likely Ambulance 20) to a Water Rescue unit and have the new Ambulance take the place of the Ambulance that is converted to water Rescue.

Michael–They already have Medic 21 & Medic 23 as their front-line medics; Medic 20 is their current reserve, and it’s not that old. Station 22 is not manned, so they will not be putting it there. Again, I’m wondering if they are putting a second front-line medic in service @ Sta. 21, possibly due to their call volume. Thanks for checking on it.

I think that’s what Bloomingdale will do, put a Ambulance in reserve. I will see if I can stop by Station 21 and figure it out.

Bloomingdale Ambulance 22? Where is that going? Are they going with 2 medics at Sta. 21, one at Sta. 23 & one reserve? Or is that going to replace something?
