The Chicago Tribune has an article about a fire at a grain silo off Lake Calumet.

Crews extinguished a fire at the top of a six-story grain silo on Lake Calumet near the Bishop Ford Freeway this afternoon.

Firefighters were called to 12700 S. Butler Drive a little before 4 p.m. after smoke began billowing out of the top of the silo. The fire was declared under control by about 5 p.m.

Crews were pouring water on the fire in the approximately six-story-tall building, according to the Chicago Fire Department’s media affairs office.
