Wheaton Supports Fire/Rescue AllianceIn order to improve cooperation among the Wheaton Fire Department and West Chicago, Carol Stream and Winfield Fire Protection Districts, the City Council approved a resolution supporting the establishment of the West Suburban Fire/Rescue Alliance. The four entities have been working together to make their training and operations more uniform and to better combine resources in order to enhance public health and safety.

They really have their own little CFD going on out there. Surprised they don’t refer to DU Comm North, as The Main Fire Alarm office. Its good departments are getting together to provided a quicker response to incidents. Hopefully this is the start to forming the Dupage County Fire Department. Just think of all the Chiefs that would be out of work.
