Chicago Still & Box at 906 N. Trumbull 1-15-12

Chicago firefighters were sent to a two-story bungalow at 906 N. Trumbull this morning for a fire in the basement. The fire spread throughout the house before companies were able to fully extinguish it. Tim Olk was at the scene and submitted several images.

The following is from The Chicago Tribune:

One person suffered minor injuries and nine people were displaced this morning after a fire broke out at a building in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the city’s West Side.

Firefighters were called out about 8:45 a.m. to a two-story building located at 906 N. Trumbull Ave., according to fire media information.

Officials said about 12 people lived in the building and one of them suffered minor injuries. A working smoke detector alerted the residents and all 12  made it out of the building.
