The All-Stars Gentlemen’s Club at 11645 W. Grand Avenue in Northlake, IL was destroyed today by fire. The building went up quickly and by all accounts came down just as fast. The temperature was in the high teens, and the header could be seen for a good 20 miles. The club was located within the Leyden Township Fire Protection District one block east of the I-294 tollway. Many departments from MABAS Division 20 were on the scene including Rosemont, Maywood, Westchester, Schiller Park, Melrose Park, Northlake, Stone Park, Elmwood Park, Bensenville, River Grove, Bellwood, and Franklin Park. Several area photographers descended on the scene to document the fire but few arrived in time for the most spectacular images. Steve Redick, Jeff Rudolph, Larry Shapiro, and Tim Olk all arrived after the roof was in. Here are a few quick shots from Tim Olk and a panoramic view showing the back of the site by Steve Redick. More images will follow.

A firefighter directs the master stream from Westchester's E-ONE aerial ladder. This fire was somewhat unique in that all three elevated master stream devices were straight aerial ladders. No tower ladders went to work here. Tim Olk photo
